- INTRODUCTION
The development of Plastic Bottle Shredder Machine is a part of environmental friendly machine that can reduce the amount of plastic bottle waste in the recycle bin. This is because the bottle will automatically be shredder into small parts. So there will be more empty space compare to the normal recycle bin. In the other hand, this machine also can skip the part of recycling process which is in the Size Reduction Process
- OBJECTIVE
a) The function of the sensor and timing power for the machine to turn `On` and `Off`
b) The successful of roll metal structure to compressed the bottle, sharp and quality steel material for the blade in shredder process
c) The result of tiny scarp material after the whole process finished
- PROBLEM STATEMENTIn our day life, plastic bottle is one of the most kinds of things that we used such as drinking bottle, engine oil, a part of decoration and much more. This kind of things will increase the use of plastic bottle in our life. So the amount of the waste plastic bottle will be increase day by day and year by year. Plastic part is one of the hardest recycling items to be recycled. So with this kind of machine, it will be easy to do the recycle process because it has been shredder already before it will be sent to the recycling factory.
- METHODOLOGY
The main focus of this project is to
create a machine that can shredder the waste plastic bottle. In this case, for
every purposed system, power consumption for the motor and the type of the
motor that will be used will be determined to make sure the power for the
machine is sufficient. The whole body parts also have to be considering due to
this machine is using high power motor and a sharp blade to do the process.
The operation of this machine is to use
sensor at the place that the plastic bottle will be throwing to start the
shredder process. The sensor is used to make this machine a very environmental
friendly in saving electric consumptions. The sensor will automatically turn on
the machine when the sensor detect something (plastic bottle) is passing the
sensor line and the machine will turn on and the process will begin. The power
will be turning on in the certain time due to make sure the process is
completely finished. The sensor will turn off the machine after the period of
time if there are no other things passing the sensor line.
After the bottle is throw in this
machine, the parts will be compressed in the compressing process using the roll
of a metal structure. After the compressing process, the parts will go through
the shredder process. This process used a very sharp blade to shedder the parts
into very tiny and small parts. After the process finish the shredder parts
will come out to the bin at the bottom of the machine and will be accumulated.
The machine than will automatically turn off after the several time being set
by the sensor and the end of the process
